The Yerri Valley is located in the northern part of Navarre, in the region of Navarra, in Spain. It is a wine-growing area with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) called "Navarra".
In the Yerri Valley several varieties of grapes are grown, both white and red, such as Garnacha Blanca, Viura, Chardonnay, Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Graciano, among others.
The DOP Navarra produces a wide variety of wines, from whites and rosés to young reds and crianzas. Navarra wines are usually fresh and aromatic, with good acidity and structure.
As far as gastronomy is concerned, in the Yerri Valley you can find typical Navarrese dishes, such as roast lamb, veal cutlet, beef stew and beans. Also very popular are the cold meats and cheeses of the area, as well as garden produce, such as artichokes and asparagus.
High quality wines and oils, grown in Navarra, with the best of the Benedictine tradition and biodynamic philosophy.
