Location and population: Ayegui is in the district of Estella, some 42 kilometres south of the capital of Navarre, Pamplona. According to the 2021 census, it has a population of approximately 1,600 inhabitants.
Nature: The municipality is surrounded by a privileged natural environment, where you can enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities. The Urbasa-Andía Natural Park is located just a few kilometres from Ayegui and is ideal for hiking, mountaineering and other adventure sports.
Gastronomy: Ayegui's gastronomy is based on local and seasonal produce. Some of the most outstanding dishes include asparagus from Navarre, chilindrón lamb, Tolosa beans, Idiazábal cheese and wine from the Designation of Origin of Navarre.
