Lerín is a municipality located in the region of Navarra, in the north of Spain. It is located within the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, one of the most important wine-growing areas in Spain.
Lerín produces red, white and rosé wines, which are mainly made from the Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo grape varieties for the reds, and Viura and Garnacha blanca for the whites. Most Rioja Navarra wines are red wines, and Rioja Navarra red wines are characterised by their body, their complexity and their ability to age well in oak barrels.
