Larraga is a municipality located in the region of Navarra, in the north of Spain. The Larraga area is part of the Navarra Designation of Origin, one of the most important wine-growing areas in Spain.
The Navarra Denomination of Origin has a long tradition of winemaking and extends throughout the entire region of Navarra. The Larraga area is located in the Ribera Alta sub-zone, which is characterised by its continental climate with an Atlantic influence, which allows the production of a wide variety of red, white and rosé wines.
Different grape varieties are grown in Larraga, including Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and Cabernet Sauvignon for red wines, and Viura, Chardonnay and Moscatel for white wines.
In the Larraga area there are wineries and vineyards that can be visited and which offer wine tasting sessions. The area is also known for its gastronomy, where dishes such as migas, roast lamb, chistorra sausage and asparagus from Navarre stand out.
High quality wines and oils, grown in Navarra, with the best of the Benedictine tradition and biodynamic philosophy.
