The Mestres family, winemakers since 1312, open their doors to you and they explain the artisanal process they follow when making their wine in a century-old winery.

The MESTRES family is documented in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia since before 1312 as owners of vineyards and also as grain and wine merchants. It has been linked to the wine world for 30 generations.

The first bottle of MESTRES Cava, which Josep Mestres Manobens made with grapes from the 1925 vintage, was launched on the market at Christmas 1928. From that date on, the family specialized in the production of sparkling wines of very long aging from the traditional method and reached outstanding quality levels and recognized both by the Penedès Cava producers themselves, as well as by the customers of good food all over the country.

In the 70's the CUPAGES de MESTRES were born. They were the custom-made signature cavas.
