The Oliveros surname has been intertwined with the world of wine for over 80 years. It all began when Mr. Juan Oliveros Perea established the first winery in 1940, which later became part of the prestigious D.O. Condado de Huelva.
From its inception, Juan Oliveros was a visionary and an entrepreneur, always at the forefront of the industry. His passion for the craft led him to install the first bottling plant in the region. He was succeeded by his son, Mr. Jaime Oliveros Macías, arguably the finest oenologist of his time in the area. He too was a pioneer, being the first to implement a cold treatment plant for the new, fruity, young wines.
In the 21st century, the third generation has taken the reins, preserving the family tradition while elevating the winery to new heights. It became the first winery to specialize in international export, reaching over 20 countries. Furthermore, it has become an absolute leader in wine tourism in the region, welcoming thousands of visitors each year.
The key to the success of Oliveros Winery lies in its ability to harmonize tradition with modern business trends, all with the sole objective of delivering the highest quality wines. This is evident in their red wines, bearing the prestigious Denominación de Origen Condado de Huelva, which are aged in a specially adapted underground cellar, capable of withstanding the unique temperatures of this part of Andalusia.
A special mention must go to their Vino Naranja, part of the sweet wine range, traditionally produced in Condado de Huelva. This wine boasts exquisite and unique qualities in the market. It is an exclusive gem that exemplifies the distinctiveness of the winery, so much so that they have handed over their "Vino Naranja" brand to protect this particularly captivating and special wine under the umbrella of the Regulatory Council.
At Oliveros Winery, it's not just about making wine; it's about crafting a legacy of excellence that spans three generations.
