In the town of Fuente de Pedro Naharro, in the province of Cuenca, is located Bodega La Soledad. Among the wines of this winery, we find the D.O. Ribera del Guadiana.

PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY

Bodega Soledad was founded on March 16, 1958 by 59 local farmers with a combined production of 2,000 tons of grapes. The works were financed with a loan of 6 million pesetas from the Fondo de Protección al Trabajo (Labor Protection Fund) and the winery was born with the vocation of being present in international markets. Export activity began in the 1980s. At that same time, the introduction of steel tanks and cooling systems began as a way to improve and maintain the level of quality.currently Bodega Soledad processes annually more than 20 million kilos of grapes -depending on the harvest- which are provided by 280 producers, owners of a total of more than 2,400 hectares. More than 75% of the production is destined for export.
