Los Hinojosos is a town located in the comarca of La Mancha, in the province of Cuenca, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha, in central Spain. According to the Spanish National Institute of Statistics, in 2020 the population of Los Hinojosos was around 1,100 inhabitants.
In terms of gastronomy, Los Hinojosos is known for its typical dishes of La Mancha cuisine, such as ajo arriero (a cod and potato stew), pisto manchego (a vegetable stew) and gachas (a dish made with flour and olive oil). In addition, in the town you can also find typical local products, such as cheeses, olive oil and wines.
In terms of culture, Los Hinojosos has a parish church dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, which dates from the 16th century and is Gothic-Renaissance in style.
