PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY
The Viñedos Puertas winery is located in Fundo El Milagro, in Convento Viejo, Curicó. It has a capacity of more than 25 million liters, with the most modern technology currently available worldwide, managed by a great team of professionals and collaborators.
The grapes are processed in the winery, which are transported in 400-kilo bins and/or 10-kilo boxes, received in stainless steel wells and/or optical sorting tables that allow the health of the fruit to be checked.
The fermentation process is carried out in stainless steel vats with hot and cold jackets, as well as epoxied cement vats with temperature exchange plates.
For its control there is an important cooling capacity of 2,000,000 frigories/hour and a heating power of 1,000,000 calories/hour, allowing the production of wines of high quality and consistency.
Cellar for aging
The wines, depending on their final destination, are stored at controlled temperatures in epoxied cement and/or stainless steel tanks. The reserve wines are stored in French oak barrels and remain in them for the time required by the winemaker.
Storage of bottled wines
The wines are bottled according to a program, by type and variety, and are stored in a specially air-conditioned cellar, awaiting final release.
