The fine vine emanates from my land.Millamán winery is in the wine region area of Valle de Curicó
PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY
José Canepa, an Italian immigrant, acquired Hacienda El Cóndor de Peteroa in 1946, thus beginning the dream of producing the best wines of the Curicó Valley. In 1998 the desire to expand and perpetuate the winemaking tradition by his three daughters led to the creation of a new winery based on the Hacienda, giving birth to Viña Millaman. The century-old walls of the winery were carefully restored and modern facilities were put inside. With this change, a new stage begins: the family tradition joins an innovative spirit that seeks to express the best characteristics of New World wines; an explosion of fruity aromas, rich and lively flavors. This marks the beginning of Millaman and reflects the essence of who we are.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WINERY
The wine cellar, with adobe walls more than 100 years old, was carefully restored preserving the Chilean colonial style. This marks the birth of Millaman by combining the family tradition and the winemaking heritage of the area with modern technology that was put inside the winery.
With a capacity of one million liters, it is designed to produce the highest quality wines by handling small batches of grapes in stainless steel tanks of 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 liters.
Our subway cellar has a storage capacity of 250 barrels where our high-end lines are aged. From each vintage we keep witness bottles in order to maintain the quality standards and consistency of future vintages.
