Winery founded in 1963 by the Cáceres Márquez family, today converted into one of the most emblematic of Badajoz. The wines produced show the years of experience, perseverance and enthusiasm, always seeking to convey our respect for the terroir, ancient winemaking traditions and new winemaking technologies. Throughout the history of Bodegas Castelar, we have always welcomed all our customers, friends and visitors. Our greatest value has always been to share with all of them, the passion for wine, food and the natural environment. The winery is located in a unique place that allows you to enjoy a landscape full of vineyards, oaks, cork oaks and olive trees, protected by the Sierra Grande de Hornachos, which makes this natural space a very special place for the cultivation of the vine.
