In La Granada, being a municipality in the province of Barcelona, you can find wines from the Cataluña Designation of Origin, as well as wines from the Penedés Designation of Origin, which is one of the most renowned in the region.
As for the typical dishes of the area, you can find different options of Catalan gastronomy, such as "Escudella i carn d'olla", a meat and vegetable stew typical of winter; "Calçots", a kind of grilled spring onion eaten with romesco sauce; "Coca de recapte", a kind of pizza with vegetables, sausages and anchovies; and "Crema catalana", a dessert of custard with caramelised sugar on the surface.
