The Quinta Vale do Cruz project was born out of a dream and, like all dreams we aspire to realise, it soon became the reality that Quinta Vale do Cruz is today. A personal and family project that includes tourist accommodation, the organisation of unique events, the production of QVC wines and a unique contact with nature.

Our wines are matured in the Mediterranean microclimate of Quinta Vale do Cruz, where there are hot summers and wet, rainy winters, producing wines that only this region can offer.
The vineyards enjoy excellent sun exposure - south and west - leading to faster ripening and higher quality musts.

The steep slope of the vineyard, the moderately deep sandy-clay soil that allows the roots to advance and its moderate supply of water, fine texture, natural and easy drainage and endowed with organic matter that promotes an intense and healthy underground fauna.
