Passion and dedication over time is the fruit of their excellence.

At the end of the 19th century, the first member of the Casanova family arrived in Chile from northern Italy with the purpose of continuing in our country the noble tradition of producing wines of excellence. Eliseo Casanova acquired the “Batuco” and “Valle Hermoso” estates in the Itata Valley, where his dream began. His son Aldo, attracted by the exceptional climate of the Maule region for growing grapes, bought the “Fundo Purísima”, whose terroir allows the production of unique and unmistakable wines.

Years later, Don Aldo was succeeded by his son Hugo Eliseo, who took over the company, introducing new winemaking technologies and improving vine production systems. He was the forerunner in the successful development of foreign markets for wine. In 1999, his son Hugo Andrés joined the company, with whom he developed the concept of “boutique winery” and together they expanded the frontiers of their exports to Europe, Asia and America.
