THE WINERY
Herdade do Sobroso, spanning 1600 hectares, combines wine production with the enjoyment of the surrounding space and nature, using them as a leisure hub. Located in the Alentejo municipality of Vidigueira, Herdade do Sobroso is bordered to the north by the Mendro mountain range, to the east by the Guadiana River, and to the south by the vast plain that stretches as far as the eye can see.
It is within this geographic harmony that the richness of its lands lies, and within this environment is where the winery is found. A space where modernity and functionality coexist seamlessly, producing wines of exceptional quality.
LOCATION
Nestled in a unique terroir on the banks of the Guadiana River, in the DOC region of Vidigueira, the predominant red grape varieties are Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Trincadeira, Alfrocheiro, and Petit Verdot, while the white wines come from the Antão Vaz, Arinto, Alvarinho, Verdelho, and Perrum varieties.
