Bodega Vía Romana is located in the town of Chantada, in the province of Lugo. Among the wines produced here, you will find those of the Ribeira Sacra D.O. (Denomination of Origin). Beyond its wines, the winery also offers a delightful gastronomic experience.
**ABOUT THE WINERY**
Adegas e Viñedos Vía Romana was established in 1997 within the Ribeira Sacra D.O. in the Chantada subregion of Galicia. The winery is housed in a 16th-century manor house and takes its name from a Roman road that once connected Astorga with Braga, used to transport the exceptional wines of the area.
The vineyard, which can be seen at the foot of the winery, overcomes challenging yet privileged terrain along the banks of the Miño River, making it a testament to both nature’s beauty and human perseverance.
