Arde Lucus, so, with this name with so much sonority, is how the locals still call one of its most massive popular festivals, and reminiscent of Roman times. Really, all those who come to Lugo for summer, this is a wonderful opportunity to have a good time, especially if they are very fond of the party. At the moment, in Lugo we only have one winery to visit, located in the town of Chantada. This winery, called Bodega Via Romana, has many qualities, but among them, you can take your children to visit the winery without any problem. In the city of Lugo, the most famous street par excellence is the New Street, also called Rúa Nova, Street of wines or Rúa dos vinhos. It is so called because it is full of taverns. In Lugo, to eat, octopus a feira, because it is a classic; however, here they are also famous for the way they cook the pig's snout and the pig's hoof. For dessert, freixós, why not? When you get to the center of Lugo, you will see that there is a fountain called La Fuente de San Vicente. This fountain, every 29th of July, should give wine in honor of San Vicente Ferrer. In this wine fair more than one hundred and fifty different types of finos are exhibited, and, mind you, it is organized in the atrium of the cathedral of Lugo, so you will have aesthetic beauty, tastings and food and wine classes, all in one in this wine event of great importance for Lugo.
