PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY

he Belasco de Baquedano winery is owned by a family whose origins are in the Kingdom of Navarra, in the north of Spain. After more than 30 years making wines in different parts of Spain, in 2003 they made the leap to Mendoza to produce high quality wines. Belasco de Baquedano is built underground. They introduced the grapes by gravity without the use of pumps. The winery is equipped with two cold rooms to adjust the temperature of the grapes after the manual harvest. They also have a double sorting belt. The winemaking is carried out in French oak vats and small stainless steel tanks, with hot and cold installation. It also has small air-conditioned barrel rooms for malolactic fermentation and new French oak barrels for aging. One of the great attractions is the Aroma Room, the largest in the world.
