PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY
Valdivieso's history has two constant principles: tradition and innovation. Both have interacted since its genesis in 1879, when Alberto Valdivieso started making sparkling wines with grape varieties brought from Europe several years earlier. The vinification of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes with the traditional French method of fermentation in the bottle gave life to the first sparkling wine producer in Chile and South America, Champagne Valdivieso, today Viña Valdivieso S.A., a consolidated brand leader in the category in the region and with participation in European and Asian markets.
