Wines from the land of Castilla.
With a surface area of 30,000 square meters, our facilities feature the most modern technology for the production, aging, and bottling of musts and wines.
Our winery seamlessly combines tradition and modernity. Rigorous production processes in state-of-the-art facilities ensure the extraction of the finest compounds from our grapes: aromas, polyphenols, and tannins, resulting in wines with personality, body, and subtlety.
We bottle 'Table Wines,' wines under the geographical indication 'Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla,' and wines with the 'Denomination of Origin La Mancha.'
ENVIRONMENT
Our town is home to the Pedro Muñoz Lagoon Complex Natural Reserve, associated with the Spanish Ornithology Society (SEO/BirdLife). It has been declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is listed among the world’s most important wetlands under the Ramsar Convention, as well as being part of the European Natura 2000 Network.
This Natural Reserve consists of three lagoons: La Vega (or "Laguna del Pueblo"), Retamar, and Navalafuente.
These lagoons boast a significant ecosystem, serving as an important gathering place for birds such as the White-headed Duck, the Greater Flamingo, the Black-necked Grebe, the Red-crested Pochard, the Black-headed Gull, the Whiskered Tern, the Black Stork, the Glossy Ibis, the Pin-tailed Sandgrouse, the Little Bustard, and the Lesser Kestrel.
Adjacent to the lagoon is the “Don Quixote Wetland” Nature Interpretation Center, which is part of the BV network, and La Vega features observation points that extend to the Cerro de las Nieves. These facilities enhance birdwatching tourism, attracting thousands of nature enthusiasts from across Spain and other European countries eager to enjoy the great diversity of fauna that can be observed in our lagoon complex.
The town of Pedro Muñoz is also part of the LIFE-Estepas de la Mancha project, which supports local farmers in achieving sustainable agriculture, helping to conserve and protect the entire complex and, particularly, the birds that inhabit our area.
