PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY
History of the winery
Since 2017 we have been living together in Checura and that was the first vintage of Mingaco Wines, with new name and label.
We started bottling and selling wine in a very incipient way and the passage of time was showing us that being part of nature and supporting it in its regeneration, taking chemicals out of all the stages of elaboration of our wines, is fundamental.
With our natural winemaking process we caught the attention of some people and we entered some restaurants in Santiago. There were people who tasted our wine and began to recommend us in Chile and abroad.
Today we are accompanied by our children Luan and Mayra who grow up in this Valley where we work and make wines in a traditional way from Muscat of Alexandria, País and Cinsault.
We live in a small oasis within the local peasant-family agriculture, among hills covered with old vines of head-trained vines, where the vine dialogues with the few remaining native trees. Here we have been practicing regenerative agriculture since 2010, and since 2017 the work has been carried out according to the agricultural-astronomical calendar in support of biodynamic practices.
With this vision of life, we have managed to stand out in the world of Chilean wine, exporting and inspiring national and international consumers.
Relax in this unique and quiet getaway in our cabin with alpine design. Located on a hill of Moscatel de Alejandría vineyard with agro-ecological cultivation, it is ideal to rest and disconnect.
