Family winery with a subway part located in the old Jewish quarter of Labastida belonging to the XIII and XIV centuries.González Teso winery is in the wine region area of Rioja Alavesa
In 1893, Wenceslao González arrived in the town of Labastida and began working as a cooper, a highly prized trade at the time, due to the demand for barrels by the large wineries of Haro. He bought vineyards and in 1905 began to produce wine together with other winegrowers in a union of winegrowers called 'La Unión', which was not very fruitful. In 1922, he bought a winery in which he made wine in wooden vats and sold the wine in bulk, and two more generations continued in this way. Honorio González and Jesús González, son and grandson of Wenceslao respectively.
