Diez-Caballero Rioja

Wines that follow the traditional formula of the Bordeaux Château, which is not very common in Rioja wines.

Following the formula of the traditional Bordeaux Chateau, unusual in Rioja, our wines come exclusively from our vineyards. Vineyards with the TEMPRANILLO grape providing a richness of aromas, dot the vineyards of La media Legua, Los Campos, Regoyos, Las Callejas, El Gallo, Valduengo.... over an area of 25 hectares. Lying on the hills of Elciego, on clay-limestone soils, oriented from north to south with abundant light and sunshine in a semi-humid climate that gives us the shades of color. Respectful cultivation, correct fertilization and severe pruning give us short but excellent harvests.
