Visit Ribera del Juá winery

Artisan and ecological winery, which uses the manual gravity bleeding technique, offers exquisite gourmet paired dinners, an unusual service on the route.

Bodegas Ribera del Juá is located in the town of de Jumilla, within the region of Murcia.


Built-in 2008, this winery is located in the area known as "Sierra de las Cabras" on the banks of what used to be the old course of the "Rio Juá." Its more than 2000 meters of construction are born from the bowels of the mountain itself. After a process of excavation, the building's foundations were settled there, preserving the earth's temperatures in both warm and cold seasons. Equipped with the most modern technology, it has a production capacity of 200,000 kg of grapes, all on a selection table.

This is a gravity-fed winery, eliminating processes such as receiving in hoppers, transportation in augers, pumps, and long pipelines, which inevitably deteriorate the grapes. Continuous friction, breakage of berries and skins, unnecessary oxidation are eliminated in this winery, making way for the use of something as basic as gravity. Through its application, a significant qualitative leap is achieved, allowing us to produce more natural wines. The winery has been certified as an artisanal and ecological winery by the government of the Murcia region.
