Founded in 1990 by a visionary man, Dr Juan M. Palomar, Dominio Buenavista is the result of a relentless curiosity and a deep commitment to producing beautiful wines both single varietal and blends at the same time creating a source of jobs and pride for his home town of Ugíjar. The vineyards, situated at over 2,500 feet above sea level, enjoy warm, sunny days and cool nights. The proximity to the sea and the intensity of the sun make our terrain, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, resemble the Napa and Sonoma Valley regions of California.
