Wines with a millenary memory.
PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY
Considered one of the most beautiful estates in the province, the hallmark of Dehesa la Granja wines is a subway cave of 3,000 square meters built in 1750.
Familia Fernández Rivera has dedicated part of this estate to agriculture and livestock. The group also markets chickpeas, cheese and oil of extreme quality.
THE WINERY
In Vadillo de Guareña, and more specifically in a winery more than three centuries old, two of the passions of the Fernández Rivera family came together for the first time through Dehesa La Granja. Thus, in one of the most beautiful estates in Zamora, viticulture, agriculture and livestock meet to produce cured cheeses, grow chickpeas and extract extra virgin olive oil, looking for the highest quality. In this incomparable environment, wines made from Tempranillo grapes and aged for long periods in American oak are produced, as it could not be otherwise.
The cornerstone of the project is a subway cave of 3,000 square meters built in 1750, an unbeatable environment to preserve the secrets of these noble and intense wines.
