Bodega Cercavins Costers del Segre

Born in 2003 in the Riu Corb valley, they use Californian winemaking techniques and have incorporated international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay.

Bodega Cercavins is in the town of de Verdú, in the region of Lérida. Celler Cercavins was founded in 2003 in Verdú, in the region of Urgell, in the DO Costers del Segre, in the sub-region of the Riu Corb Valley. The origin of our wines goes back to vineyards of centenary tradition which provide us with grapes of exceptional quality and which, together with the winegrower's knowledge passed down from generation to generation, have made the vines adapt to the soils of the area. The peculiarity of the soils, the arid climate, the low rainfall and the strong thermal contrast between day and night, allow the aromas and acidity of the wines to be preserved, and after constant and careful work we obtain wines of exceptional quality. The vineyards grow Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Macabeo, Parellada, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Garnacha Blanca, Gewürztraminer and we are also experimenting with new varieties.
