Wine tourism by town in Palencia

Arlanza or Cigalés wine? With black soup and pickled partridge? Your choice.

Three wineries, three towns and two wine routes: Arlanza and Cigalés. The most interesting destination for wine tourists is Torquemada, with two wineries. In Palencia, you can drink wines from two different designations of origin, Cigalés wine and Arlanza wine, coinciding with their respective wine routes. There is a wine museum in Bodegas Pagos de Negredo, Palenzuela. Torquemada is an interesting place to visit because of its wine cellar districts, which date back to the 16th century, at the height of the Spanish Renaissance, the time of Cervantes and the poet Garcilaso de la Vega.
