La Vid y Barrios is a Spanish municipality in the province of Burgos, located in the comarca of La Ribera del Duero. According to the 2021 population census, it has a population of around 350 inhabitants.
As for its history, it is known that the area has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by archaeological remains found in the area. During the Middle Ages, La Vid y Barrios formed part of the Lordship of Lara and later became part of the Lordship of the Dukes of Frías.
Today, La Vid y Barrios is known for its production of wine under the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. It also has interesting religious architecture, such as the church of San Esteban and the hermitage of the Virgen de la Peña.
