The winery recovers the ancient Benedictine tradition of making wine in their monasteries.
The history of the Monastery of Corias has been closely linked to vine cultivation and its development in the region since its foundation. Not only was the cultivation important, but the winemaking process also shaped the work patiently carried out by the monks in the surrounding vineyards.
Within the estate that encompasses the Monastery, with its restored vineyards, the winery, after many years of abandonment, has been reintegrated into its surrounding environment. It now benefits from excellent environmental conditions, complemented by modern equipment that allows for the meticulous, personalized, and careful production of the wines that come from it.
The wines from this winery are protected by the Cangas Designation of Origin.
