PRESENTATION OF THE WINERY
This winemaker grew up among vineyards and barrels, remembering that he always accompanied his grandfather to fill the barrels. The smell of cava brings back memories and he never abandoned that passion. That is why he managed the family estate of Chateau L'Escart in Bordeaux for 12 years, together with his wife Lorena (Chilean) who had just arrived in France at that time. Venturing out, they sought a terroir where they could freely express their passion. Attracted by the beauty of the landscape, they discovered incredible potential in the Maipo Valley. The dream became a reality and the vineyard was planted in 2008 with strict French quality control. In 2011, they designed a functional and unique winery, with small volumes that allow them to work with different qualities and types of wines. With oval grapes they managed to express the quality of each terroir. In addition, they built a barrel cellar below ground level so that the atmospheric pressure would naturally help the aging of the wine.
