Making wine since 1923.Casa-Museu José Maria Da Fonseca winery is in the wine region area of Setúbal
Built in the 19th century, it was restored in 1923 by the Swiss architect Ernesto Korrodi, and was the residence of the Soares Franco family until the 1970s. With a facade and gardens of very special beauty, it has always been associated with the image of José Maria da Fonseca.
The tour of the House-Museum begins with a brief explanation of the history of the company, followed by a visit to the old cellars: the Bodega da Mata and the Bodega dos Teares Novos, where, among others, the Periquita wine is aged, and the Bodega dos Teares Velhos, where the oldest Moscatels of Setúbal rest, some of which are authentic relics over 100 years old. At the end, the visitor will have the possibility to know and taste some of the wines produced by José Maria da Fonseca.

The Wine Corner by José Maria da Fonseca is the brand's flagship restaurant.
integrated into its House-Museum in Vila Nogueira de Azeitão.
The aim of this relaxed and pleasant space is to provide
an immersive experience of the brand, where visitors can taste
the entire portfolio of José Maria da Fonseca wines, by the glass and by the bottle,
in an environment that reflects its history, accompanied by simple but high-quality
gastronomy.
The Wine Corner menu, designed by Luís Barradas, a chef from Setubal,
reflects a concept of unpretentious gastronomy, which includes a
selection of the best regional products with a modern twist.

As well as a restaurant, the Wine Corner is also a winebar

The Wine Corner has a capacity of 100 seats, between two
