**INTRODUCTION TO THE WINERY**

Ladrón de Lunas Winery is located in a picturesque setting at kilometer 2 on the road from Requena to Villar de Olmos.

The winery holds all the necessary licenses for wine production, aging, and bottling, and is part of the Utiel-Requena Protected Denomination of Origin.

Ladrón de Lunas wines and cavas transcend national borders, reaching international markets in Europe (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, and Finland), Africa (Nigeria, Rwanda, Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea), America (Florida and Mexico), and Asia (China, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong).

**HISTORY**

With over 100 years of history, the winery reflects an eclectic and modernist architectural style, serving as a clear representation of Valencia’s referential architecture.

The building is the work of renowned architect **Demetrio Ribes Marco**, celebrated for iconic projects such as Valencia’s North Station, Castellón’s Post Office, and Barcelona’s North Station, as well as his involvement in the Mercado de Colón in Valencia.

The estate was originally divided into various sections: the manor house, the winemaking facility, the harvesters’ residence, the caretakers’ home, and the aging cellar.
