InterestingAmaren winery is in the wine region area of Rioja Alavesa
Amaren is located in the town of Samaniego, in the province of Alava. Among the wines of this winery, we find Rioja D.O. In this winery, there are tastings of monovarietal wine, the most difficult variety to obtain.
Private visit to the winery with special interest in the small vineyard estates, some of them very unique, which give rise, as they will explain to you, to native wines that become part of their Exclusive Collection. During the tasting, you will taste two of these wines with a snack of local products.
Complete tour that includes the grape reception area, special elaborations, white wine production area and micro plots, concrete tanks, bottle cellar and barrel room. During this tour, you will taste wine from different barrels and also make a coupage. To culminate this premium visit, a tasting of six wines, with local products and a glass of wine as a gift.
In this experience, in addition to visiting the winery, they focus on showing you a vineyard of more than 60 years of grapes such as Malvasia Riojana, which you will have the opportunity to taste with a typical gilda of the area. Afterwards, you will discover other grapes such as Garnacha or Graciano, during the tour through the different rooms and facilities of the winery, including a 16th century cellar. Finally, as a finale, you will taste a Tempranillo reserva with cured sausages.
Visit to a 'Quaternary terrace' vineyard, with vines growing out of the rock itself. Afterwards, tour of a winery located in a building from the 1930s and tasting of 4 plot wines.
